Resistance: Fall of Man/Characters

Sergeant Nathan Hale
Nathan Hale is a sergeant in the US army who is deployed in York, Great Britain to assist the British Resistance. Out of the 12,000 soldiers deployed, he was the lone survivor. He is the only known person to awake after being infected by crawlers. As the story progresses, Hale begins to learn more and more about the Chimera as he slowly begins his transformation into one. He is able to destroy the London Tower and wipe out all the Chimera within Great Britain. Hale was the only one to make it out alive, and is soon found by an American chopper.




Captain Rachel Parker
Rachel Parker is a captain in the British army who went into the intelligence corps researching the Chimera and monitoring their invasion of Europe while searching for possible weaknesses. She was captured, uninfected, by the Chimera and taken to a conversion center in Grimsby, where Hale finds and rescues her. She assists Hale throughout his mission to destroy the London Tower. She is also the narrator of Resistance: Fall of Man.



Lieutenant Steven Cartwright
Steven Cartwright is a Lieutenant in the British army and a member of the British Royal Marines Commandos. Colonel Parker considers him one of her best soldiers because nothing gets past him. When leading the attack on the Chimeran tunnels in Nottingham, he meets and is assisted by Hale. He could tell Hale was infected from the beginning, but he still teamed up with him at Chedder Gorge and Southern Command, and even on the final assault on at the London Tower.
